a short and tragic life.

What's the point of making these pointless little posts where you express nothing but the faintest whisper of a thought?

It's not a very good way to start a discussion.

reply

better than no posts that were here before. you could always start one.

I’m glad you made this post. Of all the stories of people in film, hers is the most tragic to me and she haunts. I was recently at a noir film festival and she was in the last movies shown. Whiplash and Night Has a Thousand Eyes. Often compared to Hedy Lamarr but she was different. She was good as the female lead with John Wayne. My favorite was the ghost one. The Uninvited. For her to die alone and so young and the way it happened. It’s a good post. For her to be remembered should anyone ever see her movies.

The Uninvited is a great ghost story. And she is very good in it.

There doesn't have to be a point. No harm has been done, so pull the rod out of your ass and relax.

reply

You seem like the one with a rod up your ass. And also low standards.

She died of extreme alcoholism, if anyone's curious what was sad about it. 36 years old.

Troubled woman. RIP.
