Slightly ripped off for Good Omens I thought...
shareI bought it when the Fatwa was instituted. The local news was filming people coming out of the store with their copies held high. Honestly though it really wasn't that good of a book.
shareThe irony is the Ayatollah and everyone who agreed with the Fatwa didn't read a word of the book, aside from the title.
shareOne scary thing about it though. Iran claims it will no longer honor the reward on the Fatwa but claims they cannot remove the Fatwa. Only the Ayatollah had the power to do that, and he is now deceased.
shareWell, that's no excuse, someone should talk to that guy and tell him to remove his fatwa stuff, has been like three decades already that's too much time to have a grudge over some book, sound like that ayatollah guy need some beer and pussy to relax a little, and take it easy.
