Love this guy…Hate this guy?

Whatever the case, we can all agree that his head is stupid up there. Real stupid.

I’ve been listening to him for years and I am glad he’s made it to where he is now. He is respectful to all his guest and let’s them express themselves in a long interview format. He’s the first person to say not to take any advice of his seriously and he’s not an expert in anything other than comedy and MMA.

All the hate directed at him is because of his ratings. He truly is a middle of the road guy who’s genuinely interested in what people on both sides of the isle have to say.

The good thing is he can’t be bought by either side and that’s really pissing some people off. So yeah, I love him.

reply

Sometimes there is no both sides. If Rogan brings on a flat earther and doesn't have the knowledge to address all their lies it does no one good but to spread misinformation

reply

I believe a flat earther should be able to talk about their theories on his show, or anyone else’s for that matter. He doesn’t have to disagree with the either, just let them say what they want. It’s about free speech.

reply

No one is saying they shouldn't. I'm saying have someone with enough knowledge to check them if they spread lies and misinformation. or else you just become a platform to spread those things.

reply

and he’s not an expert in anything other than comedy and MMA.

His comedy is terrible and he thinks MMA should be fought in an arena the size of a basketball court.

reply

I believe he givesaplatform to kooks, woo woos, pseudo intellectuals and charlatans. Which would be okay if he had the knowledge and academic fortitude to call them out when they get things wrong, spread misinformation and lies and that sort of thing.

But most of the time he doesn't have the knowledge to call out their nonsense. Making them seem legitimate or like they made a cogent point. when he just doesn't have enough expertise to dismiss their often easily debunked silly point.

reply

Universities hire thousands of "pseudo intellectuals"! Were do you think post-modernism came from? It's why we have the SJW plague.

reply

Yes sir biology, physics, engineering chemistry, English literature, psychology all "pseudo intellectualism". theres no deep knowledge and understanding at universities.

reply

Well done for completely ignoring gender studies and social sciences but you knew that already hence why you left them out.

reply

Satan2016 decided to turn a comment about Joe rogan bringing on charlatan pseudo intellectuals and make it his personal political anti- SJW crusade.

I cannot help if you guys try and change the subject to your newest obsession! Moviechatuser497 in our interactions did the same thing, bless his obsessed mind. in a conversation about January 6th he would incessantly say I had to talk about BLM riots and had to immediately condemn and call for Bidens impeachment.

Please stay on topic sir! this how real adults discuss.

I don’t hate him. I actually love his input in rock music, and find that insightful. Of course, he can have personal and political opinions, but I’d say that it doesn’t serve him to go that way.

If he really needs to get political, then I guess he’s going to have to deal with the political opposition, and I’d like to think that he was prepared for that.

It just simply brings commentary that maybe he wasn’t prepared for. I think he’s a very intelligent commentator, but going this way made him a potentially negative voice that more educated voices can pick apart. It has crossed my mind that it’s on purpose…for the exposure, but I’d like to think that his commentary is genuine…whether I agree with it or not.
