I don't dislike him,but I wonder if he's the great guy everyone thinks he is.He seems to try too hard to be the good guy,the patriotic guy,everybody's best friend.He says and does all the right things,but there's something about his eyes . They're cold and hard.
I find him to be a likable and genuinely nice guy, though he does comes across as being too attention-seeking. But he doesn't come across as a bad guy to me.
shareI think it's because he's been homeless. It's why he works so hard to please, and it's also why he has a hardened look in his eyes. If you'd been living in your car for a while before getting stable work, as he did before landing the role of Andy on Parks and Recreation, you might have both of those issues.
However, I don't happen to find him particularly amazing. He is average seeming to me in every way, which is a great quality for an actor to have.
