I recall this guy from a cheezy AIP horror film about ants from the late 70s. No idea he was still acting or that his son was Chris Pine. You're right. If he was any more wooden he could stand outside a cigar store with a feather in his hair. His son is no better. I always thought of Robert Pine as barely even qualifying as an actor.

Yet Pine Sr. never lacks for work. Maybe people in the biz of hiring actors have more knowledge than you, well, not maybe.
