Pike vs Moore

I haven't seen neither Gone Girl nor Still Alice but I believe that Moore should win..she's an accomplished actress she is 50+ and she deserves an Oscar... Pike is still a lot younger and I believe she will have many more chances to win... But the best should win...

Leonardo deserves an ossi too, but never got one.
Is he blacklisted?

As someone who's seen both, I'd say that Moore is winning(and she's way overdue).

I'm rooting for Rosamund Pike. And leonardo deserved one for The Wolf of Wall Street. Ms. moore was also very very good in Still Alice. But Gone Girl is a far better movie in every aspect.

Pike was better this year but Moore will win without a doubt. Shes over 50 now and she should have won with Far from Heaven.

I've seen both films and believe that Moore will take home all the gongs. Maybe Reese Witherspoon could be Moore's biggest competitor since I've only been hearing nothing but praises for Wild. Though it is high time that Julianne receives her first Oscar.

As for Rosamund, she just scored her very first Golden Globe nom. That is an accomplishment in itself. She might even get an Oscar nom soon. Who knows?

Moore is winning, and eventhough Pike gave the better more complex performance, Moore is way overdue and loved in Hollywood. Pike needed this role to sky rocket her career, and it is! She will have her time again soon. She reminds me of Jessica Chastain who had a breakout year and is now everywhere. Same will be for Rosamund. The nomination will be her reward which I am sure she knows and is happy.

It's unfortunate, but Rosamund Pike doesn't have a chance in hell. I can't be impartial because I love Rosamund and I haven't seen any of the other performances, but it's hard to believe anyone else gave a more multi-layered and astonishing performance.
