I can't stand Throbbing Gristle.
I've never understood their hype. It's not music, it's just sounds.

shareReally dark and creepy sounds. I like them.
shareI like dark and creepy stuff, but I just don't find this to be music. It's stuff that you play on Halloween night.
shareWhat's your take on Psychic TV - another industrial experimental band the late P-Orridge was a member of samo? And have you seen "First Transmission" (1982) (oh, I dare you to watch that 4-hour slice of controversial pseudo-snuff documentary about and from Psychic TV)?
shareCome to really think of it samo, your choice of course, but if industrial weird experimental music, and on top of that its late member P-Orridge was a subject of controversy himself and even got himself attention with the police (though maybe he was innocent of the more serious charges lobbied against him, but my God, he almost entered death metal like controversy here), is generally not your cup of tea, maybe you won't enjoy Psychic TV much either.
And some of their late 80s and early 90s work is into acid house and electronic dance music - which probably won't be especially to your taste either. At least one of their post 1996 albums I think even received poor reviews whereas their 80s to early and mid 90s work generally got solid marks.
What did he get attention from the police for?
shareI've never heard of the band or heard of the documentary.
shareBand Psychic TV was fairly popular, the "First Transmission" (1982) pseudo documentary was fairly inaccessible and of a cult variety and also controversial in content. You can read some IMDb reviews of it -

It's got 69 votes. That's why I've never seen or heard of it.
