Another comedian afraid of being cancelled.

How does he disagree 100%, though?
I'm pretty sure Chappelle thinks transgender people should be free to live a good life as they see fit. Does Oswalt disagree with that also, considering he disagrees 100%?

Also, this Twitter mob doesn't have anything else to do besides going to Twitter to find things to be upset about?

Oswalt is deeply in the grip of the establishment and his life depends on their favor. Chappelle does whatever the F he wants, he threw off his shackles when they rattled his gilded cage and he walked. Who knows what either of them think about anything, comedians don't speak their minds, their entire agendas are to rattle current thought and be outrageous. Comedians are the last people anybody should listen to about anything.

You really need that "go f**k yourself" money in order to truly be able to speak your mind. Enough money to make cancelling you futile. Dave Chappelle has it. J.K. Rowling has it. But people like Patton Oswald don't. He used to strike me as a comedian who didn't give a damn what people think, but that was before cancel culture.

Used to be, old friendships would carry you. That's why Rodney Dangerfield could keep doing TV appearances long after he stopped being useful. Nowadays, you can't stand up for your friends anymore, even after they were canceled. When the last hosts finally retired, the Leno and Letterman and Philbin, that was it. That was end of the line. It was only "party people" after that. And I don't mean festive fun.

Dave Chappelle Apologizes For Photograph With Unfunny Friend Patton Oswalt

Patton Oswalt has issued an apology for appearing in a photograph with noted transphobe Dave Chappelle. Dave Chappelle has also responded to fierce backlash from his own fanbase and issued an apology for appearing in a photograph with his very unfunny friend Patton Oswalt.

They can live their life but not force their imaginary lifestyles onto others, especially when you have 4-5 episodes of them jarring you in the face like a certain Star Trek Discovery. I don't get the incessant need to represent 3-5% of a group as if they're 45% of screen time. Maybe Oswalt is a secret misogynist at heart? I mean I guess if you're okay with transwomen beating all the records ever held by actual women.
