Sadly, he didn't cast Sean Bean as Odysseus.

Honestly, this man could film a turd floating in the toilet with IMAX Cameras and it would make a ton of $$$$$

And be about as exciting.

Nolan never misses.

I'm sure Nolanites are already hovering their mouses over the 10-star rating on IMDb to ensure this film cracks the IMDb Top 10.

I for one am ecstatic to hear this news!

The Odyssey is such a fantastic narrative and for it to be helmed by Nolan and to have actors like Bale and Damon on board, who knows, maybe even Leo jumps on this opportunity!

Nice to see him tackling a historical film. He should delve more into historical films. So many stories to tell.

The mini-series with Armand Assante was really good.

I grew up reading Greek and Roman mythology and remember sitting on the floor as a young boy watching and being enthralled by the Assante version when it first debuted.

Nice.

This is great news, Homer was always my favorite character on the Simpsons, it's so cool to see he's finally getting his own movie!

Homer's Odyssey!

On a side note: let's hope Matt Damon doesn't go full Matt Damon and ruin Homer's first (solo) movie.
