Mr Jack Lord passed away on January 21, 1998. Just remembering him fondly this past week. He was more than a talented actor. He was an artist and a philanthropist.
So many wonderful memories of watching him on Hawaii Five O. I grew to love the islands because of this show.
Thanks for all the great memories.

shareAfter recently purchasing the complete series of Hawaii Five-O, I'm having the opportunity to watch it from the beginning because I was an infant when it started, I'm reminded of how incredibly handsome Jack is, or as my friend would say, "objectively handsome". I did have a crush on him when the series originally aired, but in addition to reliving my fond memories of him playing the character of Steve McGarrett. it's also nice to find out, in the age of the Internet, he was also a decent man in real life.
