Why Hollywood won't cast Lindsay Lohan anymore

A little more than a decade ago, Lindsay Lohan was the biggest star in her generation: She acted, she danced, she sang, and she was the hottest party girl on the planet. Unfortunately, all that partying has caught up to her — and her "play hard, then work not-so-hard" attitude made her box office poison.

Lohan didn't work at all in 2016 and only has one credit to her name for 2014 (a guest appearance on 2 Broke Girls) and one in 2015 for the short Till Human Voices Wake Us (2015).

Her career failed because she is a nightmare to work with. A friend was involved in The Canyons, a film by Bret Easton Ellis. She caused the producers nothing but headaches and was impossible to work with. Plus she has no following except old men who might want to fuck her, but she's getting real tired and older looking than her years. I say fuck her and good riddance. She needs to start doing Snuff films, at least one.

2006 was the last time she really left a mark with her films, she would have been only 20 at the time. The only films since she's done that are remembered for something would be I know who Killed Me just for how bad it is and The Canyons, cause she gets naked in it. Besides that her career is not totally finished but her career as a top actress and star are long gone, she got a part in a TV show for Netflix called Sick Note and has done some cheap ass horror. I think it be a ton of b-movies where most will be horrors, she probably get naked if the price is right in them.

I definitely do think it's pretty much down to someone who wasn't able to handle the spot she was in, she was probably was spoiled by the early fame and wasn't told No a lot as a kid. Throw in drink and drugs, sleeping about with a ton of men , taken her fame and what talent she had for granted and just been a pain in the ass.

I don't think she was spoiled. I think it was the opposite. There was an article about the filming I read, this one if I'm not wrong https://www.nytimes.com/2013/01/13/magazine/here-is-what-happens-when-you-cast-lindsay-lohan-in-your-movie.html, telling the story of the filming. It's very interesting as a portrayal of characters, specially Lohan and her mother.

In my opinion, it's a case of a manipulative toxic mother and a self-destructive daughter, she has someway boycotted herself on purpose (though probably not consciously).

Oh, I could have answered that one. For one thing, she's not a cute kid anymore. For another, she's been a perennial jailbird, ever since she was caught with coke in her car when pulled over for a DUI back in '07. Ever since then, she has been such an emotional and drugged up mess, that she couldn't even make it in the porn industry, and she was desperate enough to try so she could feed her toxic drug habit, which failed miserably. I'm not sure what she's doing now, but I'd say, just erase her memories and start over. The Lindsay Blowhan we all know now is not worth preserving.

Lindsay Lohan is alledged to have converted to Islam, she even has that weird accent that Muslim converts speak. Lohan has been exploring the Muslim faith since 2016

She was photographed l walking around New York holding a Quran and attended London Fashion Week wearing a hijab but has never confirmed that she has converted to Islam.

The star, who has Salam Aleikum written in her Instagram bio, which means Peace be unto you, an Arabic greeting deployed whenever Muslims gather, often shares Islamic phrases online.

Let me ask a question no one may know the answer to: How or why was Drew Barrymore able to make a slow but steady comeback from the bottom to the top in a fairly short amount of time, but not Lindsay Lohan?

Is it because Drew was a little younger when she hit rock bottom? Seems like she hit her peak about the same age Lohan fell off.

Her movie career was failing even before she really, completely burnt her bridges. She followed up freaky Friday and Mean Girls with Herbie Fully Loaded, which no one cared for and made her seem Mickey Mouse as opposed to a maturing actress. Then she did A Prairie Home Companion and the stories of her poor behavior were legendary. THEN she did Just My Luck which flopped due to the shit storyline and her awful acting. She still had plenty of room to redeem herself here but her IT factor was fading and her acting clearly hadn't matured so the public was on notice.

Her first comeback was Georgia Rule but again, her poor behavior overshadowed any good will and it was much worse than ever before. Her costars spoke to the media about her hospital visits for “exhaustion” and “dehydration” and her propensity to skip work altogether. Then she did I Know Who Killed Me and officially became a joke. Her legal troubles ramped up because she kept getting into DUIs and getting caught with drugs, she went to JAIL (released quickly due to overcrowding), she blamed drug possession on “the black kid,” she openly stole from sets, she was living in the Chateau Marmont, stalking her own girlfriend Samantha Ronson, and in the news constantly for substance abuse and tantrums. She lost about 50 lbs and she looked haunted and delusional.

Her second comeback was Labor Pains. This movie was beyond bad and it barely registered. She was still in the news because her legal issues hadn’t concluded - she wasn't doing any of her community service and no one knew what the fuck she WAS doing, other than partying. Around this time she skipped court to go to Cannes film festival and a warrant was issued for her arrest. She had to wear an ankle monitor.
