Alex Kurtzman has made Star Trek untouchable...

...meaning that no-one wants to touch it with a ten-foot bargepole.

Trying to make Star Trek a political platform when it's always been about storytelling is just stupid, and considering the sheer number of pitches aimed at both Amazon Prime and Netflix (neither of whom will touch his Trek now), it makes me wonder why Kurtzman is creating so many shows. Probably before his companies go bust.

Fake News from drooling youtoober.

Troll responds to reasonable post. And yes, you're a troll if you like Abrams Trek/Discovery/Picard. So F off.

Kurtzman is one of those writers who thinks he has an idea he thinks is great, it's shot, put out and it's dogshit.

Needs someone telling him "That's not an idea that's political statement, swap around or excuse for f bombs".

Kurtzman is horseshit, got it?

He did great in Fringe

reply

He's not good for Star Trek, neither is Abrams: both have tried their hardest to turn it into Star Wars.

Star Trek was best before that Les Moonves cunt cancelled Enterprise in 2005.

JJs movies were good , the first one was fantastic

reply

No they're not, they turned Star Trek into Star Wars, that's not good at all.

reply

reply

Star Trek should be its own thing, not copying something else.

Have you never seen Star Trek before? The Undiscovered Country is about a political assassination for fuck's sake. The Voyage Home is about saving the whales! Get outta here.
