She has an oscar nom and is the lead of a successful franchise, at this point she should be a movie star but the general public still seems to be completely indifferent about her.

shareBecause she is more ordinary than she is special. If you look at enough of her big, toothy smile that is always the same, full-bore or nothing, it gets old. Plus even though she can sing her voice doesn't have much distinctive character to make it above the ordinary good, talented actresses that are everywhere in Hollywood.
I know she has been pushed to viewers by her agent but frankly she isn't special enough to be a movie star, if you compare her to other female stars in her age range.
Don't get me wrong, I actually like her, she seems like a sweet person but I really can't see her beyond supporting roles.
