She is terrific in black book, but there's something that annoyed me as she appeared naked : her breasts, although delightfully small, seemed too perfect & symetric.
I wondered if because of her job she had to go through plastic surgery. If so, that wasn't really necessary.

I wish it was! But Verhoeven pretty much likes his actresses with silicon. Look at Showgirl and that poor Sharon Stone (close up shots in basic instinct clearly show scars on her breasts, like it was badly done).
I am pretty sure that some producer convinced Carice into going through that operation so that it would boost her career. She's a beautiful wowan but really didn't that.

shareNo, I am saying because they do not look fake at all and because I couldve sworn Ive come accross a pic of her topless in an earlier Dutch film (way before Blackbook) in which her tits look exactly the same (which sort of disproves your 'Vorhoeven made her go under the knife' theory). Gotta accept the facts, the lady's naturally blessed with goodlooking tits. (I think there was an earlier thread on this already...)
