Tom Hardy has reached new heights of stardom, he's being compared to Tom Cruise.

The discussion revolved around Hardy using lifts for his fight scenes with Bale. Some people had a problem understanding why Hardy gets lauded while Cruise gets ridiculed for doing the same thing. why? Tom Cruise is the epitome rugged masculinity. If he threatened me, I would be so scared I'd tell him to pull my finger.

In his latest film, Cruise is Steven Seagal - an invincible fighting machine. In Out For Justice, Seagal took on legendary stuntman Nick Dimitri. Cruise with his awesome powers would dispatch Dmitri in mere seconds. Too bad Hardy and Dimitri are of different generations, I can see them becoming fast friends.

The TDKR fight scenes where excellent on part with perhaps the best fight scene of them all: Charles Bronson vs Nick Dimitri.

Tom Cruise, the epitome of masculinity? LMFAO No. He is one of the most overrated actors, ever. I am a fan mind of films he is in, yes. However, he gets roles that happen to have a top notch director and/or top notch special effects. I am not a fan of him as a man. He is batsh@t, and it's not just that Scientology bs. If he were to threaten me, I'd probably die of laughter.
