Let face it - at best hes a TV day time 'actor' who would best be suited in a cheesy soap.
Hes not great looking or talented but seems to keep popping up in role after role in big budget movies - so the question is - who or what is funding him?
Or is it simply a case of - generic, average actor who is easy to work with gets generic, average roles because he can pump out 'generic' and 'average' on cue?

Yep,that's the truth---practically all the movies you mentioned of JGL's are off the hook---even though I have issues with MS and HESHER (something about his character's presence in that film didn't jibe with me, or even make sense at certain points in the film.) Basically, it's better to recommend JGL's performances in his indie films (he's pretty good and gives a gutsy performance in the big-budget sci-fi time travel drama LOOPER,too---which is also a pretty good film,too, in its own right.)
