Love him in The Good Wife
He's now a regular and quite intriguing on the show. I'm happy that he's connected with such a good show.

shareI haven't really watched The Good Wife since the start as I kept forgetting when it was on. Am definitely watching it now though now that Matthew is in it. I also love Alan Cumming. He's fantastic. And of course Julianna. ??
shareJust bumping this up the order because I think his character Finn needs more love. He's such a sweetheart.
I've found loads of blogs/tumblr sites supporting him and love this summary (from 'cursed, etc.' on goodefinleypolmar.tumblr.com site) of why his relationship with Alicia is the one:-
Because he makes her smile. Because he makes her laugh. Because he’s not Will. Because he reminds her of Will. Because she reaches out to him. Because all of these things scare her. Because when she runs away, he tries to stop her, and when he can’t, he seeks her out and calls her out on it. Because he pushes, but he’s not pushy. Because he’s patient, but not so patient that he’s a pushover. Because he’s seen her vulnerable and hurting and far from the top of her game but had faith in her anyway. Because even when he needed her on her game and she wasn’t, he didn’t berate her or leave her or push her; he told her that her feelings were valid and offered to help without insisting that he be allowed to do so. Because he calls her out on her *beep* and it doesn’t piss her off. Because he flirts with her. Because when he needs to know the time, he has no qualms about using her watch to check it. Because he likes her. Because she likes him. Because she makes him smile, and makes him laugh. Because she looks out for him. Because when all she wanted to do was hide from the world, she still got dressed and showed up for him. Because she flirts back. Because she comes to him even when she shouldn’t, even when it scares her. Because they enjoy each other’s company.
And because when he got a crappy haircut, she didn’t rub it in.
If you are in the UK and are feeling left out of the action - take a look at that tumblr site and this-new-romantic-way.tumblr.com for clips and spoilers.

I'm looking forward to seeing much more of Matthew on The Good Wife Next Season. He was recently in Los Angeles promoting The Imitation Game and two of my friends did the junkets. Both said he was a fun, smart guy.
shareThat's great to hear - sort of justifies my fandom.

Just an article - apparently Finn is 'distractingly sexy' - really? Hadn't noticed that 😉 http://www.bustle.com/articles/46697-why-alicia-finn-on-the-good-wife- shouldnt-get-romantic-yet

Matthew is terrific on the show, completely different from the other characters, upright, honest and so sexy, a dream. I have a feeling there will be a complex story in the future, possibly involving Finn's ex-wife and Peter. I'm looking forward to it.
shareYou are some sort of mind reader - before reading this I just posted something about Finn's ex wife on TGW 'How hot is Finn' thread :-
I just thought of something. I think that the Kings have the ideal 'get out clause' with this developing relationship between Finn and Alicia -if MG wants out or Juliana gets bored with him (unlikely I know!). If his ex-wife turns up because she decides she can't live without him after all - Finn is such a dutiful, principled guy he would probably feel he would have to at least try to reconcile for the sake of his son. That would put a very large spanner in the works.
We should be in the writing room.
