She's been eligible for years but never nominated. What do you think of Lita and is she HoF worthy?
I say she absolutely deserves induction, but considering the length of time it took for no-brainers like Black Sabbath and KISS to even get a nomination, and critic's continued derision of the glam/sleaze metal subgenre, she's unlikely to ever get on the ballot.

Inexplicably Joan Jett was inducted as a solo artist,even though The Runaways have not been inducted or even nominated.
Anyway,the RRHOF is a sad joke. When you have non-rock & rap acts being inducted,and more deserving artists like UFO Judas Preist,Scorpions,Grand Funk & countless more being consistently snubbed or ignored outright,or bands like Kiss,The Doobie Bro' s,Rush & Chicago taking years past their first year of eligibility to finally get in ,you come to realize how sterile & corporate the whole enterprise really is.
They should just rename it The Rolling Stone Magazine Popular Music Hall of Fame,and give up the pretense of having anything to do with truly honoring Rock music,& musicians.

I often wonder how her career would have progressed had her mid-eighties album, The Bride Wore Black, wasn't put on the back-burner. It could have been her magnum opus.

It's too bad that she couldn't include the photo in her memoir. She never even mentioned the album in the book.
shareTina Turner and Chaka Khan were only inducted in 2021. No, Lita Ford does not deserve to be in the RR Hall of Fame before so many others. Ford was never even a major player in the Runaways. She's nice but c'mon, there are too many others left out to include a rather minor 80's artist.
