Some years ago she was set to be one of the biggest stars but she never quite reached that potential and while she gets work she is quite below the likes of Emma Stone, Lawrence, Margot and such. What gives? She clearly has the talent and is even better than the ones I mentioned.

Her most well-known movies sucked.
She wasn't ever really an actress. Child actors are typically just props and story macguffins. Her job was to look cute and/or scared.
