Excuse me?! Cary Grant, the most charming Brit did NOT sound 'gay'. Neither did Ronald Coleman, David Niven or Charlie Chaplin! What about Sean Connery, Pierce Brosnan or Daniel Craig? Does Clive Owen sound gay? I think not. Does Voldemort sound gay? (Ralph Nathaniel Twisleton-Wykeham-Fiennes) or Ewan McGregor? No.
I'm assuming by 'gay' you mean camp or effeminate? Accent is no indication of sexuality. Is sounding 'gay' a characteristic of the Welsh? No.No. No. Tom Jones, Micheal Sheen and John Rhys-Davis do not by any stretch of the imagination sound either effeminate or camp.
The original question asks if Lucifer sounds a bit girly? I'd say he sounds a bit fey at times. 'Fey' originally meant "marked by a foreboding of death or calamity" or "marked by an otherworldly air or attitude" but later, because the word was also used to mean fairy (as in an other worldly being) it also evolved into meaning "precious" and "camp" because 'fairy' at one time meant homosexual and 'gay' meant happy.
When anyone is precious and pleased with themselves I think it's easy to be a bit camp. But yes, another man in the bed was a big clue but it could have been simply the building blocks of an Eiffel tower? However, do God and the angels have a gender? Which begs the question who is 'mom'?
