I've only seen her in Wonderfalls, which started not long ago in the UK. (Needless to say, it's brilliant and the exec at Fox who decided to can it should have various internal organs Forman grilled and fed to him.) Anyway, I was wondering if anyone who's seen her in anything else or seen her being interviewed could shed any light on the accent. She is French-Canadian, yes? Heavy accent? First language French?
sharePeople born and/or raised in Montreal comes in many shapes and forms...that includes language and accent in both French and English... most speaks both....english with a generic "north-american" accent (not always the case), french with a french-canadian accent (also, not always the case)....Some are only comfortable in English, others only in French (that's when you hear the french-canadian accent when speaking English....AND EVERYTHING IN BETWEEN THE TWO OF THEM......
