South Solitary

I've just noticed Marton for the first time - after watching him in South Solitary. I'm a late starter I guess. Seeing all these posts, looks like I've got a heap of super-indulgent viewing to catch up on. Why doesn't South Solitary ever get a mention? He's such a strong actor they had to give him a limp, PTSD and an accent to make his vulnerability believable. When will he get a real leading role? How can one human bring so much breath-taking enjoyment to the screen!

I have now watched some Xena epsiodes for the first time. Wow - what booming power he gave to his Borias character. But what a grisly death (not sure exactly where he was stabbed but it seemed to hurt him a lot).

If he's always getting bad guy roles does that mean we'll have to keep watching him die in his movies? That would make me sad. I haven't seen xXx and Asylum yet - maybe he does survive in those?

At least in South Solitary (did I say what a great movie that is?) he just gets left on an island by himself, with a horse and some pigeons - and our imagination.
