I am, despite the fact that I struggle with Thandie Newton who the only time I ever liked was in The Chronicles of Riddick.
It's entertaining in a brutal sort of way but it's wildly miscast in more than one role, like her husband? What is up with that? And the Lieutenant? Hello? What is up with her? I get the feeling they left reels of film (if they actually filmed any longer) on the cutting room floor. She seems vicious and hateful and I have no idea why.
That said, both of her friends (mentors) are terrific. As is the actor cast as Marton's wastrel son and the actress cast as his wife.
Of course Thandie Newton has zero chemistry with Marton which seems odd but oh well.
Looking forward to the season finale this week.
What I want to know is how they managed to get such awful weather so consistently in San Francisco except oops! Is Vancouver...
