I know Cruise worked with David Lynch. I'm just surprised to see a reference to the B-52's.

But aside from the songs she is known for (featured in Lynch films), don't miss her cover of Elvis Presley’s Summer Kisses, Winter Tears. This was on the soundtrack for the Wim Wenders movie Until the End of the World. Outstanding soundtrack.
In the 1990s, when singer Cindy Wilson took some time off from the band for personal business, Julee Cruise replaced her on tour. I saw that iteration of the band with the Pretenders at the time—great show from both bands! Julee more than held her own, too.
