Bad actress acting as one of the worst characters in TV so far...

I love serious, nuanced dramas and rounded and well done comedies overall, and although I also love some guilty pleasures like 2 Broke Girls, I'm gonna put the cards on the table and say that I FÜCKING HATE SOPHIE IN THAT SHOW.

Jeez, she's literally the worst comedy character any show has (or I've ever seen on comedy TV, for that matter). I can't stand how she's hogging screentime from more interesting characters (OK, not interesting, but maybe actually watchable), her annoying "Polish" voice that is just a high-pitch whine with no actual attempt at a clean foreign language, zero character development and marrying Oleg doesn't count, since she's still being the annoying high-pitched bitch from Season Two with no depth. She has no nuance in her screentime and in a series filled with stereotypes and stock comedy characters, she, of somehow, manages to be the shïttiest one of them all.

I honestly don't know what goes through some commenters' minds in these boards that defende the actress (understandable) and her character at the same time. I mean, they could be her fans, but damn! there's this level of love around her character in some boards that can be only compared to fanboy annoying worpship that I find dumbfounded and idiotic.

So, you don't like her, huh?

reply

Daaanngggg.... Not much to add...I agree.

I think she is a very good actress!
She must be playing her part of, Sophie, quite well.
After all, look at how very riled up she has you going!!

reply

She's a bad actress and what riles me up is that she's bordeline annoying. Her character has no redeeming qualities in a show where other annoying characters get some character development and at least try to act a in a believable manner.

Actually there is a hint of a polish dialect. There are parts that are just annoying to part is stereotypical. Hans character is also stereotyped the guy who plays Oleg is Russian. Now his accent is better
