Claims to be a Christian in interview with Dua Lipa
Curious if any secular people actually think he is one?
shareCurious if any secular people actually think he is one?
shareI don’t see any reason for anyone to assume that he is not a Christian. He says he is and I believe him.
shareSo you take someone´s profession of faith at face value? If someone is a professing "Christian" and watches child porn, do you still consider them a Christian? I am not implying Colbert does but he definitely publicly supports an anti-Christian agenda.
sharejust look at him?!? he looks like a stereotypical 1950s pedophiler. the dude is most def sus as fuck
shareSo who decides whether someone qualifies as a true member of some made up mubo jumbo club?
shareHow do you KNOW (not think) it's made up?
shareWhat's the opposite of making something up?
shareThat's not an answer.
shareI know Christianity (aka mumbojumbo) is made up. Does that answer your question? Hence my question, what would you consider to be the opposite?
shareNo, it doesn't answer my question. I said HOW do you know. And I will reiterate KNOW. If you KNOW it, share with me how.
shareLol. The good old clerical bamboozle. Ok I'll bite. Let's try to play the Jordan Peterson game. Define "knowledge". Ok I'll look it up for you. "Knowledge is a familiarity or awareness, of someone or something, such as facts (descriptive knowledge), skills (procedural knowledge), or objects (acquaintance knowledge) contributing to ones understanding. By most accounts, knowledge can be acquired in many different ways and from many sources, including but not limited to perception, reason, memory, testimony, scientific inquiry, education, and practice."
By this definition I know that Christianity is made up by someone, somewhere at a specific time. Unless you provide me with a different definition of "making something up" or a different theory how Christianity came up in the first place.

I'm not doing any sort of "bamboozle". To make a claim like that, to me requires some sort of empirical evidence for it to carry any weight as a fact. Without it, it's an opinion/belief. I can say I know George Washington had purple hair but without any empirical evidence, best case is I THINK/BELIEVE George Washington had purple hair. So to put another way, since you are going the route of semantics, Is Christianity being made up, a FACT or is it your opinion/belief.
shareThanks for the sincere discussion mate!
Well, if you talk, it's always about semantics... 😉
And to answer your question, Christianity is - of course- something made up.
Let's have a look
"Christianity is an Abrahamic monotheistic religion based on the life and teachings of Jesus of Nazareth. It is the world's largest religion, with about 2.5 billion followers. Its adherents, known as Christians, make up a majority of the population in 157 countries and territories, and believe that Jesus is the Son of God, whose coming as the messiah was prophesied in the Hebrew Bible (called the Old Testament in Christianity)and chronicled in the New Testament"
I highlighted the crucial (sorry for the pun) word for you.
What anti-Christian agenda do you think he supports?
shareTransgenderism. Gay marriage. Pro-abortion.
shareGood some people still recognize that Christians aren't supposed to support the Devil's pastimes.

There are a lot of very liberal Christians, who believe in all that stuff Jesus said about loving thy neighbor as thyself, judging not lest ye be judged, poor people and peacemakers being blessed, and “But whoever has this world’s goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him?”. Some of these people believe that God almighty made some people gay or trans and that we shouldn't go around criticizing God's work, and that He also gave women brains and free will, and the ability to decide what to do with their bodies.
Don't argue with me over this, I'm not really interested, and I'm not a Christian. I just know some Christians who aren't as cruel and small-minded as the majority.
What you call small-minded, I call obedient. Jesus said narrow is the path to life and few find it.

He knows his bible verses well that's for sure. He dabbles in religion but doesn't preach the true gospel, a practicing Christian if you will even though he now claims he's Catholic as well. Professes Christ with his mouth but deny him by his lifestyle.
what lifestyle? if he says he is christian then he is, simple
shareIf he can state that Jesus is the son of God, was born of a virgin, died on a cross and was raised on the third day to atone for all of our sins without bursting into flames......
He's a Christian.
That´s not how it works dude. Many will profess with their mouths and Jesus will say, "I never knew you".
shareReformed wiki. Good YT channel :)
shareNo reason to doubt him. Maybe he's not actively practicing.
shareI thought he was a Jew.
shareWhether his is or isn't is between him and God.
shareThese Hollywood freaks just say they're Christian to be in "good standing" with the public.
