He did a fabulous guest vocal on the Alan Parsons Project album Stereotomy. The song is called "Limelight".

When I was a kid a friend had the album Broken Barricades by Procol Harum, also featuring Robin Trower, so Gary Brooker has always been on my radar, although I didn't go too far out of my way to collect their music.
Definitely a one-of-a-kind band and Brooker was the centerpiece. I do have the A Salty Dog album but only listened to it a few times. I'm sure tons of fans are thinking of him now and playing the music.
