There's a reason why the situation in Ukraine is happening now under Biden and not when Trump was in the White House. Sleepy Joe's gigantic screw up in Afghanistan signalled to Putin just how weak the blabbering idiot is. You lefties are sorely disappointed Trump didn't turn out to be the warmonger and trigger-happy madman you desperately tried to convince yourselves he was. Biden is now attempting to use the Russian invasion as an excuse for soaring inflation and outrageous gasoline prices. Never mind that a gallon of gas had already almost doubled prior to any hint that Putin was sending in his army. It's a pity that there are so many idiots who fall for this propaganda. But then again, it's our media that is the driving force behind this politically motivated misinformation.
Even more disturbing to me, not really mystifying, is the large number of people who think criticism of US government propaganda pushing for NATO to initiate WWIII is the same as being pro-Putin. That linkage in itself is vile propaganda. You now hear this from Democrats and Republicans supporting the war machine all the way down to the idiots on The View, who advocate for federal investigations of anyone questioning the US narrative about how wonderful and brave Zelensky is, about our support for bioweapons labs in Ukraine, about US government involvement in the 2014 coup, etc. Who knew that advocating peace and pushing back against salivating defense contractors would be worthy of imprisonment in this country, and that such a position would be simultaneously considered right-wing as well as pro-communist? The logic would be laughable if the stakes weren't so deadly serious.
