The reason is that even Democrats find her grating and unappealing, as evidenced by their unambiguous rejection of her during the 2020 Democrat primaries. Biden is better able to fool the herd into thinking he represents stability, has the common person's interests in mind, etc. Harris is effective only with a small minority of racists in this country. Swing voters will distance further from the Democratic Party if she's the president.
