Rome wasn't renewed because (at the time) it was the most expensive TV show ever produced. And if you are seriously comparing the miserable, dull sets of N&S with the exquisite Rome sets, well only someone as besotted with a man you've never met as you are could possibly take that seriously. There is just no comparison in either acting, actors, sets and costumes. Rome was exciting and interesting - N&S was just a huge snore fest.
I WILL NEVER GIVE UP!
