Which franchise should he save next?

Not that he would be saving any more franchises after Star Wars so this is wishful thinking.

Were the prequels good?

reply

And by 'save' you mean 'rip-off'. "The Nostalgia Awakens" was just a straight up copy of the original movies because that's all this no talent hack can do, copy other people's movies.

Face it. Any company at this point can wrap up a pile of sh*t with a bow, smack the Star Wars logo on it, and it will still break a billion. It's Star Wars.

reply

For the most part, yes.

reply

Lol. The prequels were totally sh*t on by the fans. Where have you been? You know the prequels with JarJar and Hayden's wooden acting?

It unfairly ruined the career of Jake Lloyd who wasn't even a bad actor but was made fun of by his peers at school that he quit acting altogether.

Star Wars fans have selective memory. The prequels nearly killed the series if it weren't for the expanded universe and video games

It's unfortunate that Jake Lloyd was bullied by his peers but that's how kids are. He didn't deserve to be treated like crap. Like many other child stars, he was traumatized by fame and didn't transition well into adulthood.

The idea that the prequels were hated is largely a myth created by insular echo chambers buried deep within the bowels of the internet. Gallup polling and newsreel footage proves otherwise. How exactly did they kill the franchise if each one of them was successful, mostly well received, and led to the Clone Wars movie/tv series? It seems to me like they built upon the fanbase that was already there.
