When Adrianna bit the big one were you depressed

I know I was. I watched her religiously on the Sopranos and thought of her as this goofy but hot Bonjovi loving chick from Jersey who was cornered by forces beyond her control. Sometimes I really hated Tony's leadership. It's why I'd never make mafia boss. I'm Irish too, so there's reason number 2.

Early on I didn't like her character, but later I did. Felt badly that she got caught up in this crowd and that the FBI put her in that position. They had her trapped. I just watched this episode last night and hated that Chrissy told Tony and Tony had her killed.

Umm, the sopranos ended like 8 years ago. I don't think you have to worry about spoilers. We all know by now.

Nah, it was about time some of the main cast started dying on that show. I would have been more pissed if she hadn't died.

"Phase One...in which Doris gets her oats!"

Adriana's death was the only one that made me really sad. It was so heartbreaking. She got caught up in something that she couldn't extricate herself from and it caused her demise.

However, I can't believe she thought Christopher would chose her over "T" as he usually called Tony. If I was her, I would've just taken the FBI deal for myself and disappeared into the night.

Ah yes, some magical force stopped her from walking away from Christopher the moment she found out what he really does and who he is involved with.

Let's be real here for a second, Adrianna, like most other women on the show, where enjoying their jewelry, nice cars, coats, fancy restaurants and all the other status symbols while casually looking the other way for years(!).

We all reap what we sow, and Adrianna realized too late that she made a capital mistake. It's on her.

Aaah yes, I do agree that she wasn't forced to stay with Christopher! But she loved him. She couldn't extricate herself from her feelings for him. I just watched the episodes where Christopher got shot and almost died. Adriana was hysterical with fear and grief. Love is a powerful motivator.

Also, Jackie and Ritchie Aprile were her uncles and the life Christopher led seemed normal to her. She grew up with it.

I totally agree that all the wives on the show reap many benefits from their husbands' criminal activities. They choose to look the other way. My sister and I were discussing it a few days ago. I said Carmela told Tony that her priest who was her spiritual advisor was helping her "become a better Catholic." Yikes! She was a mob wife.

I'm Catholic myself and I find the characters' relationship with the Church and their faith to be disturbing. You're not a "better Catholic" if you continue to receive stolen property! In the episode where Christopher almost dies he has a near death experience, sees hell and is told that's where he's going. Paulie becomes afraid that he's going there too. He gets very angry with his priest and says that his many donations to the Church should have him covered. He thinks he can buy his way into Heaven.

I've strayed a bit from the OP but yes, I did find Adriana's death tragic even though she brought it on herself. The other characters who get "whacked" also reaped what they sowed. It's still just sad to me, sad that people can be so STUPID!

Bonny and Clyde also loved each other while they murdered people...

I get your point, but in the end, we are all responsible for own actions.

"...but in the end..." I do agree with you. I just felt sorry for her even though her own foolishness got her killed.
