Yes, I am so jealous of an almost 70 year-old spoiled, crotchety diva. You know how ridiculous that sounds, right? At least you concede that her behavior was "unsettling". There is some hope for you yet. I made a general statement about an industry, where most of the "stars" are pampered, egotistical jackoffs. Look at Tom Cruise, The Jolie-Pitts, and other disgustingly overpaid, self-indulgent pompous arses to see my point. Look at the disgustingly untalented wastes of human DNA Britney Spears, Lindsay Blowhan, and Paris Hilton (the epitome of Hollywood vulgarity). It's all the more reason a (formerly) esteemed actress like Lily Tomlin should have behaved more professionally and responsibly, particularly considering she had two far younger actors "suffering" in that car with her when she blew up for minutes on end - Mark Wahlberg and Naomi Watts, two Oscar nominees who showed far more grace and class than this potty-mouthed granny.
If I said "all politicians are smarmy liars who are out for themselves" (which is generally true), am I "lumping everyone together in an overcrowded train car, and sending them off to a concentration camp of moral righteousness." Give me a freaking break and get off YOUR moral high horse.
Honey, I am nowhere near Hollywood. In fact, I am on the other side of the continent, in another country. Staying in North America, which I plan, I cannot geographically get any farther away from it. I do find Hollywood "unseemly", especially today. Doesn't mean I cannot comment on it, and make general statements as I did. In fact, it's all the more reason why I should.
