There was also another one whose title I cannot remember or find. It was a story about a liberal couple who go off on holiday and all kinds of things go wrong. The guy is very particular and pretty hilarious. In one bit they make a stranger participate in a sing-along. I would give that a 7 as well.
Anyone know the title?
The only Mike Leigh film I've seen is Naked, so that would be number one, but I found it very depressing and bleak.
shareLOL probably not the best of his films to start with! Yes, Naked, while excellent, is a massive downer...
Most of his other films are much more cheerful in tone. There is often an underlying sadness to them, but leavened by a sense of humour.
