Favorite Performance? (Besides The Joker)

For me, it's Ennis Del Mar from "Brokeback Mountain". Up until "The Dark Knight", I didn't think Ledger would ever top that role.

William Thatcher in "A Knight's Tale". His performance is solid, but I just love the movie, overall. I guess it's rated fairly (almost a 7), but it still seems underrated in how much it's brought up or talked about. It's also the film that made me a huge Paul Bettany fan; he's incredible as Chaucer.

It's also a film packed full of great quotes:

William: It’s not in me to withdraw.

William: Perhaps angels have no names, only beautiful faces.

Adhemar: You have been weighed, you have been measured, and you have been found wanting.

Adhemar: And how would you beat him?
Fence: With a stick. While he slept. But on a horse, with a lance? That man is unbeatable.

Chaucer: I will eviscerate you in fiction. Every pimple, every character flaw. I was naked for a day; you will be naked for eternity.

Roland: Well you may feel like a poet, but you sound like an idiot.

And, of course, this scene - MAJOR SPOILER: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RkqomLTu9-Y

My apologies for the rant. It's just a film that I always loved, and the one that made me really appreciate Ledger & Bettany.
