OMFG is this more of that "white guys for Harris" crap?

reply

More of Kamal using celebrities to try and sway votes.

reply

Yeah . . celebrities like Brett Favre, Elon Musk, Victoria Jackson, Kelsey Grammer, Zachary Levi, Kanye, Dennis/Randy Quaid, Rob Schneider, Roseanne Barr, Kid Rock, James Woods, Hulk Hogan, 50 cent, Lil Wayne, Jon Voight, Scott Baio, etc.

Oops, wait a minute . . .

reply

Kinda like Trump ? Both sides do it , genius.

reply

It might help get her some votes. Eminem fans are crazy and worship him like Jesus

reply

can we decide the Presidency by putting Kid Rock and Eminem in a cage match?

reply

OMG is he still around?

Man - talk about carrying absolutely no talent a very long way.

reply

He just released a terrible new album. He's washed up and hasn't released any good music in almost a decade now.

reply

When did he show up, maybe the late 90s? Early 2000s?

I don't remember because one isn't a fan. ANyway, when he did show up, I figured he'd be the flavor of the month and soon forgotten (like hundreds since).

How he managed to be interesting enough to introduce someone running for President of The United States in 2024 is beyond me.

reply

He still has a pretty big following because many people see him as one of the biggest MC's in hip hop even though most of his music post 2000's has sucked.

reply

As it happens, I've been rediscovering 1990s hip hop.

There is some really good stuff there - stuff that has aged well.

Eminem doesn't fall into this category. RIght, with his "Slim Shady" business - late 90s I believe, but don't quote me. His music is ridiculous in comparison to other 90s hip hop.

I can't believe Kamala and Obama couldn't come up with a more relevant person to introduce them. It's not like Eminem has a huge demographic.

Even if he is seen as one of the biggest MC's in history.....how much could he possibly mean to people now? And if he does mean a lot - to a lot of people - then I guess I'm out of the loop.

reply

"most of his music post 2000's has sucked.

I disagree, he peaked in the early 2000's specifically when his movie came out in 2002 along with the release of Lose Yourself.

reply

Lose Yourself was a great song, but 8 Mile was a horrible movie.
