I would really love to see him in more serious roles like The Green Mile.I believe the available material and opportunity need to be present,just like with this past movie. This guy has some serious acting chops that are incredible to watch onscreen. He has done good work since then,but I feel with his talent he could more intense stuff. There is always a good role for any actor,but a lot of the execs seem to prefer casting thin white men. Its time to shake things up a bit.Especially when he can act miles around some of the "big stars" out today.
