I feel that to call Emmy Rossum the "Lea Michele of Shameless" is a bit extreme.
When Emma Kenney spoke about her experience with Emmy on the set of Shameless, I looked into this as much as I could. I didn't find much. The only time before Emma Kenney, where I heard there was an issue with Emmy, was Josh Lucas called her a "prima donna" during an interview after filming Poseidon. And nothing else came out about it at that time. I had heard something that Josh Lucas had say things about several of his former female co-stars from other films, so I brushed it off as 1) maybe he's a jerk in general or 2) no one else is saying anything, maybe they just didn't get along.
Now back to Emma Kenney's interview, I was kind of shocked. Especially when I followed her, Emmy and Shanola on Twitter in the early days of Shameless and everyone seemed so tight back then. So off to google I went to see what I could dig up. Honestly, besides Emma Kenney's interview, a 'behind the scenes' clip of the showrunner saying he was hesitant to hire Emmy, because he heard she had a reputation, but she proved to him she'd grown up, it was just a few reddit posts of people claiming they either A) worked on a lot near the Shameless lot and could "hear emmy screaming blocks away". B) claiming they knew someone who worked on Shameless and heard things and C) one person claimed they witnessed her yelling at an assistant or crew member about how she had been on set already for 16 hours. Are those stories truthful? We don't know. It's reddit, and no one said they actually worked with Emmy on the set of shameless, so it seems like speculation at best.
Now look at Lea Michele - So many of her Glee co-stars have come out about her attitude and behaviour. Naya Rivera even mentioned the nasty change in their relationship in her book.
So far, Lea Michele seems far more extreme than Emmy, and I don't believe it's fair to paint Emmy as the same as Lea. Let's see what else comes out, if anything does.
