I know many people who use their children for personal gains.

And you are right...without her looks she isn't much of anything. She's been a total hypocrite ever since she dumped Billy Joel for that a$$hole real estate guy and then **surprise** he turned out to be a jerk. And now she hooks up with someone who did to her what Christie did to Billy. Payback is hell isn't it?

I think that Peter Cook is a complete idiot for what he did to her and it is his fault that they are in this divorce trial to begin with. I don't necessarily think it is good to put the kids in the courtroom, but when this all blew up two summers ago don't think for a second that kids didn't know what was going on! They know everything- it was all over the news, local and throughout the country. Christie did everything she could to shield them from it when the story broke by taking the kids out to her parents home and not watching TV and making sure they wouldn't be affected until she could break it to them in her own way in her own time. Now it is two years later and they are older and wiser. They are very aware of what has gone on and I don't think anything they could hear at the trial will be a surprise to them.
Christie is going to use this trial to prove that Cook is a scum. I am interested to see how it all turns out to be honest with you!

No matter how mad she is, this will NEVER justify a public hearing in which her kids are able to view the he said, she said of it all. Shame on Christie and shame on the Judge. We all know what happened already and outside of Billy Joel, her taste in men has been questionable! Three kids with 3 dads...get a grip! Christie does not need a public hearing to tell the world Peter is hound dog! KIDS SHOULD COME FIRST NO MATTER WHAT!

I hear you pacbluequeen. I agree kids should come first, but she did not put herself in this position- he did. I personally wouldn't put the kids in the courtroom because they are children and the discussions will be for adults, but I guess I am so annoyed at what he did to her that I want the world to know what a loser he really is. I can't say exactly how I did, but I knew this family at one time and I think that is why I feel so strongly about it.

Yes, she has had three husbands and a child with each marriage. So, okay she is not the poster child for marriage either, but he is by far worse. I am sure you have read all the details, it is more than cheating- that is bad enough I know, but it is a lot more. He was leading a separate life with this underage girl buying her cars and giving her thousands of dollars and taking her to his homes (ones that he and Christie owned together) to have sex & the list goes on...he is a SCUM! What a terrible thing he did to his family.

Why the hell can't this woman be bitter. The father of her children screwed around and humiliated his children (and wife). Obviously, she wants to shame him publicly and I don't think that is such a bad thing.

She's punishing him by humiliating her children even further. It's very hard to support for that kind of behavior.
