Deserves a Post

Apart from Wizard of Oz I couldn't remember seeing him in anything else - though I recognise several of the films in IMDb. Maybe he's better remembered in America for his TV work?

I don't know why I never thought of posting about him before. His Scarecrow in The Wizard of OZ was so memorable. He was supposedly "brainless', but came across as smart, sweet and lovable. Of course that was only one of Bolger's many roles.

I only know him as the Scarecrow, but from what I have read he had a Las Vegas act, he was a song and dance man in addition to being a comedian.

He was in Babes in Toyland with Annette Funicello. He did overact a bit in that, but was fun to watch.
