Hour Long HBO Special (Never aired anymore)

He did an HBO special around 1995 which they never show anymore. I'm pretty sure it's not the "Stand Up" one. The one I'm referring to includes bits about taking his kids to Disneyland and throwing up on the tea cup rides, Magic Johnson can't be gay, an earthquake he experienced and *beep* on himself.

I haven't seen it aired in close to 10 years. I've yet to see it on video anywhere. Does anyone know what that special was called and where it can be found?

I know the special you're talking about and I think it was called "Still Standing".

It is called "Still Standing." It was funny as hell, too. I used to have it on tape and then I lent it to one of my friends and he taped over it. . . with Seinfeld. I was thisclose to murder.

Shining: I thought it was just the HBO Comedy Hour. I too have been looking for a copy of this anywhere I can but haven't yet found any success. Other bits on it were Beating your kids, Bob Dole-amite. If anyone has a copy of this one I would be interested in buying a copy.

I don't see why HBO doesn't air these anymore. Over on the HBO forums, it appears that there are also requests for this.

I would buy this in an instant if I knew where to pick it up. If anyone finds it, holler back here.

What, do we have to track Damon Wayans down in person to ask him for a copy? I know he's gotta have it somewhere, but he's not the station, or the store. HBO or Blockbuster, or somewhere should have this for sale.

I'm a member of netflix and I requested they get these two titles. Anyone else a member of netflix reading this should also do the same.

Damon Wayans is funny. Wow, I wish I could've have seen this. It sounds really funny. I laughing just thinking about it.

I didn't even know he had a post-Last Stand HBO special!! I love that one, and his earlier 30-minute HBO special, which I still have on tape. A brilliant stand-up comedian; sure, he owes a lot to Eddie Murphy and Richard Pryor, but I find Damon the funniest.

"If Mike Tyson came up to me and said, 'lithen, I want to *beep* you in your a**.' The most I could is, 'yeah? Well for how long? Cuz I can't have you *beep* me all day, man!'"
