I know what you mean.

I liked him in The Omen. He's pretty good in Tron, too.

I think he's a good serviceable actor. Maybe he just hasn't had a great breakout role to exploit. In any case, I thought he made the best Bob Cratchit out of the ten or so versions of Christmas Carol I've seen.

He was great in Star Trek when he tortured Picard.

I rather enjoyed his performance in Twin Peaks. Though his character only appeared in a limited number of episodes. Would have been nice to see more of him (as well as his foil, Dan O'Herlihy).
