He deserves a place here after many movies and thousands of commercials. A lot of times I just want straight up funny and you are guaranteed to receive it with the Ernest line. He smoked himself to death but many others do the same thing to themselves.

Yes, he was very good, and underrated. There was a lot more there than Ernest.

I'm not sure about great, but I did enjoy his work. I think he actually saved the unfortunate reboot of Hillbillies, although Dabney Coleman is always reliable and brings professionalism to most projects.
