Not surprising.

reply

Meh. The whole thing is disgusting anyway. Reducing people to skin color.

reply

I see nothing wrong with it. He was an actor/entertainer.

reply

My experience arguing OJ Simpson, is that all white people think he's guilty, and all black people believe he's innocent. I'm not exaggerating.

reply

Hi Onan! How have you been?🥰

It might seem that way but I assure you it isn't. I have 2 black uncles and 8 black cousins. None of them think he is innocent and were/are disgusted by the verdict. At the time of his trial, the company I worked for had all the tv's turned on so we could see the verdict. Several of the white people I worked with were pissed because they believed him to be innocent.

reply

Okay, I was being flippant to provoke a reaction. 🤣

But from experience, like at work, when we've had open discussions with a mixed race crowd, that the blacks say he was framed by the cops.

reply

I remember Chris Rock doing a bit about OJ in his standup. Sounded like he thought the dude was guilty.

reply

All the blacks hate Chris over the Jada Pinkett and Will Smith nonsense.

reply

I'm not so sure about that one. I don't think black folks really are that supportive of Will Smith. They aren't too impressed by how he let's his wife treat him, either.

reply

Okay. I'm playing a bit. It was a pun on the sitcom "Everybody Hates Chris" which is about Chris Rock.

I've actually always seen Will Smith as a bit whitewashed.

"My experience arguing OJ Simpson, is that all white people think he's guilty, and all black people believe he's innocent. I'm not exaggerating."

And not a whole lot has changed in 30 years. Says a lot about the lack of progress in society.
