Interesting. I wonder if they suspect foul play at the scene, or whether it's regarding the source of various substances?

I always question when a professional drug and/or alcohol abuser dies. Being one myself. We uh.... know what the fuck we're doing. And our limits.

There is no foul play, they just want to blame whoever gave Perry
the Ketamine that killed him so they can pretend to do something for
a bigshot stupid Hollywood star.

Perry took the drugs. He would have got them from somewhere, and
he put them in his body voluntarily. He's dead, leave it be. People
who take illegal drugs know what they are doing and are willingly
taking the risk. You can't stop stupid.

It is a waste of time and money in a legal system that has a lot
stronger priorities than this fool.

CRIMINAL CHARGES FILED AGAINST 5 IN CONNECTION WITH MATTHEW PERRY'S DEATH

5 individuals, including 2 doctors, have been charged in connection with the death of "Friends" star Matthew Perry. The defendants are accused of being part of an "underground criminal network" that supplied Perry with large quantities of the prescription drug ketamine.

U.S. Attorney Martin Estrada stated that the group exploited Perry's addiction issues for profit.

Perry, who died nearly a year ago at age 54, succumbed to the "acute effects" of ketamine, which, along with other factors, led to his drowning in a hot tub.
