How long has it been since he's made any money for anyone?
Seriously, this guy hasn't been commercially viable for the last decade, and he's a fountain of bad publicity. He's mainly known for doing drugs with bigger celebrities and beating up girlfriends.
Might be curtains for Manson. The only reason everybody turns their back on you like this has nothing to do with guilt, smoke and fires. It's because they can't make money off you anymore. And he was difficult to work with at the best of times. This here's the low point of his Behind the Music special.

It’s unlikely that he was pulling the same amount of money as he did during the late 1990s. But I’m guessing he was still a profitable asset?
"critically acclaimed" = "didn't sell".
See above. There are really only two reasons people get dropped by their managers, the first is that they aren't making enough money to make them worth the manager's time and trouble, and the other is that the manager is completely sick of their shit.
