I recently started to enjoy Lithgow's movies and the wonderful actor he is and, as you can imagine, I haven't seens too many of his movies so, I was wondering which of his movies do you like more?
I have to admit that I loved him in The Wrong Man and Ricochet.
Any suggestions about which other movies I should get?
Cliffhanger, he is doing a great role there I think :)

Any or all episodes of 3rd Rock from the Sun - wonderful ensemble cast led by John as the high commander. All are available on DVD including all 6 seasons of 3rd Rock.
He's one of those actors like Johnny Depp and Helen Mirren who brings something interesting to everything he does. Even the turkeys are usually worth watching.
I think it's fantastic to watch Cliffhanger and then a relly funny episode of 3rd RFTS, like the one Dick misunderstand the Mary's friend that is gay and he thinks he's alien like him LOL. Dick Solomon is, with no doubt, one of me most fantastic character ever, love it!

My favorite John Lithgow films are "Dealing: Or-the-Berkley-to-Boston-Forty-Brick-Lost-Bag-Blues," "Blow Out," "Twilight Zone: The Movie," "Buckaroo Banzai," "Ricochet," and "Cliffhanger."
Look nonchalant and keep on smiling.
I loved him in Raising Cain....It's been a while but I liked the plot.

shareRaising Cain is a a good movie and not one of his better known, but I always enjoy it.
And of course you can't go wrong with his classics like Harry and the Henderson's, Terms of endearment or Foot Loose, but mostly all that he is in is pretty good.
