At Close Range is a four star masterpiece. GGGR is amazing. Confidence is slick and well crafted. Fear was great. His other stuff not so much.
Hes been around for over 25 years and has yet to make his definitive film!!?

shareI would say GGGR is his definitive film. I LOVE that move. Its pretty hard to top. And given his the rest of his track record I doubt if he ever will.

He can be real hit or miss - Perfect Stranger was horrible, laughable really. GlenGary Glen Ross was well done as well - thought he added a lot of depth to what is essentially a stage play.

I just watched After Dark my Sweet and it was fantastic. A great piece of pulp fiction and another fine job by Foley. It was nice to see Racheal Ward back in her heyday again cause she is fine. Jason Patric was amazing, talk about an enigma.
