Very good in True Detective.
I think he is very good in a serious role like the one in True Detective. Just my opinion. I think he should keep up with those.
shareHis acting was okay.... just okay. His did have some silly dialogues, but that's not his fault (rather, the writing staff's). The way that he delivered most lines in a chopping and halting style of short (and at times, incomplete) sentences was annoying, and hence, less believable (very unnatural for real life conversations); and again, not his fault (the director's most likely). Overall, he gave a passable performance. However, there are at least five other actors could step in his role and raise the character to a much better level.
