he was just interviewed on Piers Morgans tv show. said he once saw the Queen when she came to montreal in the 1930s when he was 6 or 7 just before the war and he waved to her as she went by in the Rolls Royce with the then King and Queen and he said she waved back at him!. Piers then said its funny to think she was waving back to the young Captain James T Kirk (to which Shatner lold)
